Official Information:

The meeting will provide a discussion of the contemporary techniques and the latest applications as follows:

(i) Techniques, including diffraction, small angle scattering, probe microscopy, optical microscopy, crystallization techniques and both atomistic and meso-scale modelling methods.

(ii) Applications, where we will consider inorganic materials, micro-porous and meso-porous materials, molecular crystals, bio-materials, minerals, semi-conductors and pharmaceuticals.

Why should you attend?

  • The meeting will survey the latest developments in a vitally important interdisciplinary field of contemporary science. A wide range of materials and systems will be covered including oxides, silicates, pharmaceutical compounds, biomaterials and thin films
  • Strong emphasis will be placed on new techniques, both experimental and computational which are increasing our understanding of nucleation and growth at the molecular level
  • The relevance and importance of the field for industrial applications will be a key feature of the meeting
  • The Discussion will be an international meeting, bringing together the latest developments in the field worldwide
