The workshop will bring together experimentalists and theoreticians working on gas-phase, solution phase and biological proton transfer and proton solvation problems. It will cover a variety of topics including protonated gas-phase clusters, protonated water solvates in solution, intra- and inter-molecular proton transfer, acid-base chemistry and excited-state acid dissociation, proton mobility in water, protons in proteins and trans-membranal proton transport.
