The LogP2009 Symposium offers various opportunities for learning and exchange, including lectures, oral short communications, posters, a commercial exhibition and social events. The focus will be on in vitro and in silico techniques to predict and optimise the pharmacokinetic (ADMET=Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion, Toxicity) behaviour of drug candidates.

We expect about 300 participants, mainly pharmaceutical scientists and medicinal chemists from the pharmaceutical industry, from companies committed to in vitro and in silico ADMET prediction and from academia.

LogP2009 is a non-profit symposium and thanks to our generous sponsors, we are able to offer reduced registration fees and additional discounts to poster-presenting Ph.D. students.

The main topics will be:

* PhysChem (Ionisation, Solubility, Partitioning, Permeation) including a discussion on "Membrane Permeation Mechanisms"
* Absorption, Distribution and Excretion, with a focus on transporter proteins
* Metabolism and Toxicity
