The 4th International Conference on Multi-Component Reactions and Related Chemistry (MCR 2009) will be held in Ekaterinburg (Russian Federation) from may 24 to May 28, 2009.

This conference is the fourth conference in a continuing series of international conferences featuring research on Multi Component Reactions and Combinatorial Chemistry that began with Munich, 2000 and was followed by Genova, 2003 and Amsterdam, 2006.

Multi-component reactions receive increasing attention, as they are perfectly suited for combinatorial synthesis (either on solid support or in solution) of libraries of products relevant to catalysis, as agrochemicals or pharmaceuticals.

The program of the conference will consist of lectures by distinguished invited speakers, oral communications and poster presentations covering the field of multi-component reactions in a broad sense, including its applications. Through your participation you will have the opportunity to present the results of your recent research, attend lectures delivered by eminent scientists, and discuss ideas with researchers from all over the world.
