The annual catalysis conference in South Africa is the major event organised under the auspices of CATSA (Catalysis Society of South Africa). From the early beginnings of the first national conference held in 1990 at Gordon's Bay, the scope has expanded to include international conferences such as IPCAT 1 which took place in Cape Town in 1998.
