The 6th Euro Mediterranean Symposium on Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy “ will be held in Izmir, Turkey, September 11-15, 2011 and will be organized by İzmir Institute of Technology. Since 2001, EMSLIBS symposiums aimed to provide an environment for the presentation and discussion of the fundamentals and recent developments in laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy as well as encouraging the young scientists to exchange their ideas and work. Focusing on the same goal, EMSLIBS 2011 will feature plenary lectures by distinguished scientists at the forefront of the field and short courses to learn about the basics and recent developments in Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy.
