Chair by Emeritus Professor Nick Hadjiliadis, Eurasia conferences aim to bring together scientists from European and Asiatic countries and encourage friendship and scientific collaboration by supporting scientific researches of chemistry with the help of chemists in other continents such as America, Canada, and Australia, and by organizing a world-top class international conference with the help of their world-wide friendship network through which world-leading scientists are invited. With this way scientists, especially young scientists in developing countries, could exchange information to emphasize scientific activities of their countries. This is the first in this series of conferences to be held in a European country, namely in the island of Corfu, in Greece, April 16-21, 2012. Ten plenary lecturers, including four Nobel Laureates have accepted to participate in Eurasia-12 conference. In addition about 50 keynote and session lecturers will also participate in the 14 sessions programmed; covering almost all branches of Chemistry, plus frontier subjects in Biological and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Materials Technology etc. Mini symposia and round tables will also be organized.
