Official Information:
The biannual "Trends in Enzymology" (TinE) conference is an international
Gordon-style conference that brings together enzymologists from different
backgrounds in an inspiring atmosphere to share the latest and most exciting
results in the field of mechanistic and applied enzymology. The fourth edition
will take place from June 3rd-6th 2012 in Goettingen (Germany), the "City of
Science" and home of 44 Nobel prize winners. The TinE conference has emerged as
an excellent venue for graduate students and Post-docs to interact with
established investigators.
Recent years have witnessed pioneering advancements in various biophysical
techniques, which are essential for the elucidation of enzymatic mechanisms at a
molecular or even atomic level. In fact, these advancements made possible to
break existing barriers of knowledge and to go beyond frontiers. The "Trends in
Enzymology conference 2012" will address key methodological advancements and
cutting-edge findings on the molecular mechanisms of enzymes.
